What path led you to your current role?

We can agree that not many “what do you want to be when you grow up?” questions are answered with, “a life insurance agent”! However, 15 years ago, I entered the life insurance industry and haven’t looked back. The professional relationships I’ve formed have turned into lifelong friendships, and have been the catalyst creating The Stream Protection Plan.

I identified a consistent theme among the wealthy and successful businesses: they’ve figured out how to effectively use other people’s money (bank leverage) to their advantage. Our Stream concept is not new, but it has, until now, been reserved for the ultra-high net worth. We extend that opportunity to ‘HENRYs’ (High Earners, Not Rich Yet).

What's your proudest professional achievement?

My time as the President of the NAIFA San Diego Chapter, an organization that serves the needs of insurance and financial services professionals. It was rewarding to give back to an industry that has given so much to me, both personally and professionally.

What's your primary role at Stream?

I’m passionate about building new relationships. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about how we can help them grow their business, add a new revenue source to their books, and ultimately help their clients protect their wealth and futures.

What do you enjoy most about working at Stream?

Team strategy sessions and figuring out new, creative ways to help people protect their wealth. Our philosophy is, work hard and play harder! Given that money can cause stress, divorce, and anxiety in people’s lives, I receive such joy from helping protect our clients’ wealth, which they have worked so hard to create.

What are your hobbies?

Traveling to new places with friends and family, enjoying quiet time on a nature walk and snow skiing with my kids. Those experiences, and the thought of new ones, are what I work hard for.

What path led you to your current role?

I started as a financial planner over 30 years ago and then took a position at a large life insurance company, working in marketing, advanced markets and product design in life and annuities. I saw a gap in the market for what became the Stream Plan for clients concerned about how to save enough for retirement.

What's your proudest professional achievement?

Obtaining all four of my designations within eight months while working full time and having a newborn.

Overseeing the banking relationships and educating advisors and clients on the benefits of using the Stream Plan.

Helping people achieve financial security and independence. Introducing them to a smarter way to protect the families and businesses, and fund their retirement.

Traveling, martial arts, mountain biking and going to concerts (of all genres).

Once I saw the power of Stream, I knew I had to be part of it.

What's your proudest professional achievement?

When I paid my first death claim, I truly saw the power of life insurance. While other companies sent bills to my client’s widow, I was the only one who showed up with a check. In that moment, I realized—life insurance isn’t just a policy; it’s the ultimate act of love and protection.

What do you enjoy most about working at Stream?

We help people who would never have access to a product like Stream become a reality for their retirement.

What path led you to your current role?

I’ve spent 13 years in private banking and wealth management and almost five years as an independent financial advisor. In 2013, I graduated from California State University Channel Islands with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance.

My motivation to enter this business stemmed from a shared desire for financial security among those dear to me. I provide my clients with opportunities for financial success and help alleviate any stress related to their retirement.

What's your proudest professional achievement?

At a previous advisory firm, I more than quadrupled my book of business in approximately three  years. This accomplishment proves that the hard work and dedication instilled in me by my father as a young child pay dividends.

Growing Stream’s national distribution efforts and providing unique strategies for insurance agencies, insurance agents, and financial advisors so they stand apart from their peers.

What do you enjoy most about working at Stream?

Helping professionals think outside the box regarding their financial portfolio, transforming their investment choices and empowering them to achieve financial freedom. Witnessing their joy from having peace of mind around their overall financial plan and knowing that my team and I played an intricate part in that planning process keeps me inspired to continue doing what I do every day.

What are your hobbies?

I’ve been playing hockey since I was four and continue to play today. I also enjoy playing golf with family and friends, and getting paired with random players at different courses. I Love meeting new people and getting to know their backgrounds.
